Areva Industries manufactures (Hoist One Track) HOT Cranes,  which are widely known for high performance, strength and durability and are stationary overhead cranes that allows the lateral movement across two planes as well. HOT Cranes are less common as compared to EOT Cranes as they do not allow for movement like the EOT Cranes. HOTs are most commonly used for maintenance purposes. They have a Hoist attached to a bridge which can be operated using an electric pendant. 

The special structure of H.O.T cranes with the depth of 15-20 mm from the surface is a result of the heat treatment done on its wheel assemblies. These find a wide application in places like factories, workshops and warehouses among others.
